Cynthia Spencer Hospice
Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families across West Northamptonshire. Services include inpatient care, a Hospice at Home team, outpatient clinics, lymphoedema services, and a Wellbeing programme.
All clinical services are free of charge.

Cransley Hospice Trust
Cransley Hospice Trust raises funds to support and develop specialist end of life care for people in North Northamptonshire. Care is provided at the Cransley Hospice inpatient unit in Kettering, as well as through a Hospice at Home service for those who wish to remain in familiar surroundings. All care is provided free of charge.

Domestic Abuse Support
eve Domestic Abuse Charity
Established over 40 years ago, eve has supported more than 12,000 women towards a safe and empowered life. They provide safe refuge for women, children and young people escaping domestic abuse in Northamptonshire, alongside therapeutic recovery programmes to help survivors heal and move forward. Their services include the Restored recovery programme, therapeutic group work, and an Evolve programme for perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also offer training for professionals working in the sector.

Northamptonshire Health Charity supports patient care and staff wellbeing across local NHS hospitals and community settings. They fund equipment, research, training, and the extras that go beyond what the NHS can provide — helping to make a real difference to patients and their families.

Homelessness & Hardship
Northampton Hope Centre
Established in 1974, the Hope Centre is a progressive anti-poverty charity supporting people facing homelessness and hardship in Northampton. They offer a day centre for homeless and vulnerable people providing food, clothing, hot showers, and personal development. They also run a Hope Social Supermarket for those in financial hardship, and provide long-term recovery support to help people rebuild their lives.
The Hope Centre also runs the Grow! Cook! Eat! programme, offering free Champion training to help local families learn to grow and cook healthy food from scratch – Read about it here.

Baby Basics Northampton
Baby Basics Northampton is a volunteer-led charity providing Moses baskets filled with essential items — clothing, toiletries, and baby equipment — to new parents and newborns in vulnerable situations. They work with midwives, health visitors, and other professionals to reach families who need support most, including those fleeing domestic abuse or facing financial hardship. Referrals must be made through a healthcare professional.

The Seddon Legacy Project
The Seddon Legacy Project was created in November 2024 by Northamptonshire mum Anne-Marie, whose two young sons lost their father to suicide in April 2024. The project provides free, peer-led social support and bereavement befriending for bereaved children across Northamptonshire. Services include the Starlight Group, a Bereavement Befriender scheme, a Funeral Friend service, and the Legacy Loss Box. All support is free and run voluntarily.

Home-Start Northampton
Home-Start is a voluntary organisation offering befriending support, practical help, and emotional advice to families with at least one child under five who are going through a difficult time. Trained volunteers visit families in their own homes on a regular basis. All referrals must be made with the family’s consent.

The Lewis Foundation
Founded by Lorraine and Lee Lewis, The Lewis Foundation is a Northampton-based charity that hand-delivers free gift and support packs to adult cancer patients in hospitals across the Midlands.
