Model Weekend at Rushden Goods Shed

If you’re looking for something different to do with the kids this September, mark your calendar for a weekend that swaps swings and slides for locomotives and LEGO.

Rushden Historical Transport Society is throwing open the doors to Model Weekend, two days packed with model railways, planes, boats and LEGO creations for little (and big) transport fans to explore.

What’s on

Expect a wide variety of model displays filling the Goods Shed, from detailed model railways to planes, boats and LEGO builds. There will also be train rides on offer, so the kids can get hands-on with the real thing after admiring the miniature versions, plus refreshments available on site if you need a coffee or a snack break.

When and where

Saturday 19th September: 10am – 4pm
Sunday: 20th September 10am – 4pm

You’ll find it all at The Rushden Goods Shed, John Clark Way, Rushden, NN10 0AW.

Prices

Entry is £5 per adult. Children’s pricing wasn’t listed on the event page, so it’s worth checking directly with the organisers before you go.

Good to know

For any further questions, you can email administrator@rhts.co.uk or call 0300 302 3150.

As always with event listings, details can change, so it’s worth double-checking timings and pricing directly with the venue closer to the date.
