Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Chester House Estate: A Magical Family Afternoon Tea This August

If your little ones are obsessed with Alice in Wonderland (or if you fancy a properly magical excuse for cake and tea yourself), you’ll want to pop this one in the diary. Chester House Estate is hosting a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party this summer, and it sounds like exactly the kind of whimsical, dress-up-and-go day out that makes for brilliant school holiday memories. Here’s everything you need to know.

A Tea Party With a Magical Twist

Step into a wonderfully whimsical world this summer at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party — an unforgettable family experience packed with magic, mischief and fun!

Guests will join Alice, The Mad Hatter, the Cat and the Queen of Hearts for an interactive adventure filled with laughter, surprises and plenty of Wonderland charm. From curious conversations to playful entertainment, everyone becomes part of the story throughout the event.

There’s a beautifully themed Afternoon Tea with a twist too — starting with a special show before transporting guests straight into Wonderland with delicious treats and fantastical flavours for all ages to enjoy.

What to Expect

  • A live show to enjoy at the start of your visit, with character interactions throughout the whole event
  • Meet Alice, The Mad Hatter, the Cat and the Queen of Hearts throughout the whole experience
  • An enchanting themed Afternoon Tea
  • Family-friendly fun in a magical setting

It’s recommended for children aged 5 and up, so it’s a lovely one for the older Wonderland fans in the family rather than the very little ones.
