Kids Go Free at Silverstone Museum This Summer
If you’ve got a car mad kid in the house (or you’re partial to a bit of Formula 1 yourself), this one’s worth bookmarking. Silverstone Museum has just brought back its Kids Go Free offer for the summer holidays, and honestly, it’s one of the better value days out on our doorstep right now.
From Monday 6th July right through to Tuesday 1st September, children aged 15 and under get in completely free to Silverstone Museum with every paying adult ticket. All you need to do is book an adult admission for a date within that window and the kids come along at no extra cost.
What’s included
Your visit gets you into the full museum experience, including interactive exhibits, iconic race cars and hands-on activities that take you through the story of British motorsport. There’s also a must-see feature exhibition on at the moment, Driven by Design, which explores the engineering behind motorsport, featuring cars spanning decades of racing history, from early Brabham and BRM machines to Lando Norris’s current McLaren.
Worth knowing: each paying adult ticket also comes with an automatic upgrade to a free annual pass, so if your little ones love it (they will), you can head back as many times as you like over the next year without paying again.
Kids eat free too
It doesn’t stop at the entry ticket. In the on-site café, kids can also eat for free from the children’s menu when an adult buys a meal costing £10 or more. If you’re planning a full day out, that’s lunch sorted without an extra dent in the holiday budget.
The details you need to know
- Kids Go Free is valid for children aged 15 and under
- A full paying adult ticket (or adult annual pass return) must be purchased for the offer to apply
- Each paying adult can bring up to five children free of charge
- The offer does not apply to tickets bought via third-party sites such as Virgin Experience Days or BuyaGift
- Kids Go Free tickets are not eligible for the annual pass upgrade (that’s for the paying adult ticket only)
- Extra paid experiences like the Sim Suite and the Black Cats & Chequered Flags VR experience are not included in the free offer
Please note the museum’s website shows slightly different end dates in different places (1st September in the main offer details, 31st August in the FAQ section), so it’s worth checking directly with the museum or on their booking page before you travel, just in case.
This is a third-party event/offer. All details were correct at the time of publication based on information from the official Silverstone Museum website. However, changes can happen at short notice, so we’d always recommend double-checking directly with the venue before you head out.
