Kids Fest at Chester House Estate: Everything You Need to Know

Kids Fest is back at Chester House Estate on 8th and 9th August 2026, and from the sounds of it, this is shaping up to be the kind of day that leaves everyone (kids and grown-ups) properly worn out by home time — in the best way.

What is Kids Fest 2026?

Kids Fest is Chester House Estate’s big summer festival for families, running over two days with a packed programme aimed squarely at children aged roughly 18 months to 12 years. It’s worth noting the estate has flagged that the event is best suited to children over 18 months and up to 12 years, as there are limited activities for those outside this age range — handy to know before you book if you’ve got a mix of older teens or babies in tow.

What’s on the day

Your day ticket covers a genuinely huge range of activities, including:

  • Giant inflatables, including a 60ft assault course
  • A zorbing zone with giant inflatable balls
  • Inflatable football darts
  • Bungee trampolines
  • A climbing wall
  • Visiting alpacas and tractor rides
  • Live stage shows throughout both days
  • Superhero and Princess meet and greets on both Saturday and Sunday

There are also extras still to be announced, so it sounds like there’s more to come before the big weekend. Activities are split by age group — up to 5 years old, and 6 to 12 years old — so both age groups get a day that’s actually built for them rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
