SUMMARY:Grumpy Rosetta Storytelling at Volta Books
DESCRIPTION:If you are after something gentle\, free and a little bit magical to do with the kids on Halloween\, this one is for you. Local author Juliet Timpson is bringing her little witch\, Grumpy Rosetta\, to Volta Books in Wellingborough’s Nene Court Shopping Centre on Saturday 31st October\, with two free storytelling sessions for children aged 3 to 10. \n\n\n\n\n\nFree Storytelling in Wellingborough This Halloween\n\n\n\nJuliet will be in the shop from 10am to 4pm\, and she will be running a free storytelling session at 11am and again at 2pm. Entry is free and there are no tickets to book\, so you can just turn up on the day. \n\n\n\nHer books will also be available to buy directly from her\, so if your little one falls for Grumpy Rosetta\, you can take a copy home and maybe even have a chat with the author who wrote it. I love the idea of kids getting to meet a real local author. It makes books feel that bit more special. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Is Grumpy Rosetta?\n\n\n\nGrumpy Rosetta is a little witch who doesn’t feel like she fits in\, but luckily she stumbles into a world of new possibilities. It’s a lovely message for little ones\, especially any who sometimes feel a bit different\, and a witch makes it the perfect story for Halloween day. \n\n\n\nThe books are recommended for ages 3 to 10\, so it works well if you have a mix of ages in tow. \n\n\n\nGrumpy Rosetta Storytelling: The Details\n\n\n\n\nWhere: Volta Books\, Unit 1 Nene Court Shopping Centre\, Wellingborough\, NN8 1LD\n\n\n\nWhen: Saturday 31st October\, 10am to 4pm\n\n\n\nStorytelling sessions: 11am and 2pm\n\n\n\nPrice: Free entry and free storytelling\, no ticket required\n\n\n\nRecommended age: 3 to 10 years\n\n\n\n\nPop it in the diary and make a morning or afternoon of it with a wander around Wellingborough town centre. If you are planning a full day of spooky fun\, have a look at my Halloween events in Northamptonshire\, or grab some ideas from my easy Halloween arts and crafts for kids to carry the witchy theme on at home. And if you want free events like this landing in your inbox every week\, sign up to my free weekly newsletter. \n\n\n\nPlease note: Event details are provided by the organiser and may be subject to change.
