Okay, I genuinely cannot keep this one to myself because as a fellow Animal Crossing fan, I am absolutely here for this. If you or your kids have ever spent hours building up your island, chatting to your villagers, or hunting down that elusive fish at 2am (no judgement, we’ve all been there), then this is the kind of day out that is going to make you very happy indeed.

SEA LIFE Birmingham has teamed up with Nintendo to bring Animal Crossing: New Horizons to life in the most brilliant way, and it is running from 1st April through to 5th May 2026. Best of all, it is included with your standard admission, so there are no hidden extras to worry about.

Join the Adventure

This April, immerse yourself in a unique universe with Animal Crossing: New Horizons at SEA LIFE Birmingham! The renowned life simulation game, developed by Nintendo, offers an immersive experience into a world where you can create your own paradise on a deserted island and interact with its residents.

Explore the ‘SEA LIFE Island’

Equipped with a tour guide to lead the way, guests will explore the ‘Sea Life Islands’, meet Tom Nook and residents like Aurora and Octavian, and discover diverse sea creatures. A fossil dig will reveal the ancestors of the marine life that we love today, whilst explorers will search for Gulliver, who washed up on the beaches of the island.

Meet Tom Nook & Isabelle

Come down and meet Tom Nook or Isabelle for a very special photo opportunity! Character meet and greets will be available every day at select times. The sessions will last about 30 minutes. All times are subject to change.

Tickets

Standard tickets start from £19 per person when booked in advance online. If you would prefer more flexibility on the day, an Anytime Entry Ticket is available from £33 per person, allowing you to arrive whenever suits you without being tied to a specific time slot. Under 2s go free, and you can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your visit.

SEA LIFE Birmingham is open 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 3pm.

You can book your tickets at visitsealife.com/birmingham.

Honestly, whether your little ones are obsessed with the game or you are the one sneaking on after bedtime (hi, same), this looks like such a fun way to spend a day out. The combination of real marine life and Animal Crossing characters is something I genuinely did not know I needed until now.
