Daventry Fireworks Spooktacular: A Free Halloween Fireworks Night
Halloween and fireworks on the same night is pretty much every child’s dream, and this year Daventry is making it happen with a free display you can turn up to in your spookiest costume.
This year, the event will take place on Saturday 31st October 2026 (Halloween) to avoid clashing with Remembrance events, as both would otherwise fall on the same weekend. That means we’re bringing you a spooktacular fireworks display, so come along and celebrate Halloween with us!
Get set for a sparkling Saturday at the annual Daventry Fireworks Spectacular, presented by local award-winning fireworks company MLE Pyrotechnics.
We’ll be lighting up the skies with a spectacular professional display set to a musical soundtrack spanning the decades. Plus, there’ll be plenty of hot food and drinks available to help beat the autumn chill.

- Gates open: 6pm – 7.15pm with fireworks starting at 7.30pm

Come dressed in your spookiest Halloween costume – children and adults are all welcome to join in the fun!
This spectacular FREE event is perfect for all ages. Enjoy an incredible fireworks display choreographed to a spooky themed soundtrack.
Please note: Gates open at 6:00pm, with the fireworks starting at approximately 7:30pm. Hot food and drinks will be available from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
IMPORTANT: Gates will close promptly at 7:15pm, so please allow plenty of time to arrive and enter the venue before the display begins.
There’ll be plenty of delicious food and drink to enjoy, including burgers, hot dogs and sweet treats from cakes to candy floss. You’ll also find plenty of hot drink options to help you stay warm.
This family-friendly event is one of the most popular in the Daventry diary, so come along to enjoy a fantastic, free display as we light up the autumnal skies.
Most public viewing areas are on the grass field. We also have a designated hard-standing viewing area for wheelchair users, and all our food stalls are on hard-standing and fully accessible. If you need any assistance, just let a member of staff know – we’re happy to help!
SCHOOL SITE RULES: Please help us keep the event safe by abiding by the strict site rules of the school.

- No Dogs (apart from assistance dogs)
- No Large Bags
PARKING: Disabled parking only on site. Spaces can be reserved from 10am on Monday 12th October via: https://www.daventrytowncouncil.gov.uk/fireworks
There is no onsite parking so please be considerate of the local residents and use alternative FREE public car parks in Daventry and arrive at the site on foot.
