Halloween Half-Term at Wicksteed Park
Half term is creeping up again and if you’re after a plan that ticks off rides, spooky fun and tired-out kids in one go, this one’s for you.
Wicksteed Park’s Halloween Half-Term is back, running from Saturday 24th October right through to Sunday 1st November 2026, and it’s one of those days out that genuinely covers all bases — little ones, bigger kids, and anyone who fancies a proper Halloween atmosphere without travelling too far.
When it’s on
- Dates: Saturday 24th October – Sunday 1st November 2026
- Time: 10:30am – 4pm
- Location: Wicksteed Park, Barton Road, Kettering, NN15 6NJ
What’s included
Your wristband covers unlimited access to all open rides for the half-term period, plus admission to Halloween Haunt Chapter 3 (in partnership with Halloween House) and Zoolab’s spooky potions show in Wicky Bear’s Theatre. There’s also an outdoor trail to solve a mystery around the park, which is a nice way to get everyone moving between rides.
Rides open for half-term include Astroslide, Treetop Walk, Rocking Tug, Clown Coaster, Wicky’s Mini Farmyard, Pig N Putt, Roundabout, Cups and Saucers, Lighthouse, Carousel, Sway Rider and the Wicksteed Railway.
Prices
- Children under 16: £16
- Adults: £10
- Children under 0.9m: free with a paying adult
Wicksteed Park’s usual parking charges apply on top of your wristband. Wristbands can be booked online in advance directly through Wicksteed Park, and with half term always being a popular time to visit, I’d get yours sorted sooner rather than later.
If Wicksteed Park is already a regular on your list, you might remember that Wicky Bear recently picked up a lifetime achievement award for 25 years of greeting families through the gates — so keep an eye out for him while you’re there.
