Quantum Theatre Bring Treasure Island to Lamport Hall This Summer
Quantum Theatre are bringing their outdoor production of Treasure Island to Lamport Hall’s Walled Garden this summer, and honestly, an evening of pirates, sword fights and sea shanties under the open sky sounds like exactly the kind of thing that makes for a brilliant family memory. Here’s everything you need to know.
Quantum Theatre presents Treasure Island
Saturday 11th July, 6pm–7:45pm
Ahoy there me hearties! Long John Silver and his crew of salty old sea dogs are weighing anchor at Lamport Hall this summer with the pirate classic, Treasure Island.
From the moment young Jim Hawkins stumbles upon a treasure map at the Admiral Benbow Inn he finds himself embroiled in the murky underworld of pirates – and soon he is on the high seas in search of the pirate hoard. But once aboard the Hispaniola, Jim becomes only too aware that he is not the only one who knows of the map’s existence…
Packed full of action, drama, sword fights and sea shanties, Island boy Michael Whitmore’s thrilling new adaptation will have you on the edge of your seat as Jim manfully tries to outwit the pirates and get to the treasure first.
So why not grab a blanket and a picnic and head over to Lamport Hall for an exciting evening of buccaneering adventure as Quantum Theatre present Treasure Island, a treat for the whole family.
“Yo Ho Ho! And a bottle of Rum! Fifteen men on a dead man’s chest!”
This performance will be outside in Lamport’s Walled Garden, a perfect summer’s afternoon setting. There will be a bar available and picnics are welcome, although you’re asked not to bring your own alcohol on site.
- Adults – £20
