Santa’s Grotto – Friday 28th November – Sunday 21st December 2025

Step into a magical winter wonderland and meet Santa Claus himself! Children can share their Christmas wishes, receive a special gift, and capture unforgettable festive memories. With twinkling lights, cosy holiday cheer, and plenty of seasonal spirit, Santa’s Grotto is the perfect place to experience the magic of Christmas.

Northampton & Lamport Railway

Saturdays and Sundays from 30th Nov to 21st Dec – Santa Specials

All tickets include complementary refreshments onboard the train, comprising: a glass of sherry and a mince pie for adults and a sweet treat and a Fruit Shoot for kids. Whilst on the train, children can write their letters to Santa.

Once you get off the train, you’ll meet Santa in his workshop, where all children receive a present.

29th November – Santa Paws

Santa’s Grotto – 29th November and is here until 23rd December.

Bring your little ones along to meet the man himself, Father Christmas, in his wonderful and magical festive grotto at Stanwick Lakes this Christmas season. Children will get to make their own natural Christmas decoration and meet Santa himself in his beautiful traditional barn.

Depart from The Boat Inn, Stoke Bruerne for a 80 minute cruise in the narrowboat ‘Indian Chief’ to Blisworth, where Santa will join the boat for the return journey, meet each child and give them a present. Party games and music will be played during the cruise.

As the magic of Christmas surrounds you on the one hour long walk-through experience, children (and adults) can take a moment to write a heartfelt letter to Santa, before joining the elves to create a magical concoction of mystical reindeer food which you can take home to sprinkle on your lawn.

The highlight of your visit will surely be your encounter with Santa Claus in his cosy workshop, where you can snap a jolly ‘Elfie’ with the big man himself.

This charity Santa’s Grotto has proved to be hugely popular over the years and has helped raise lots of money for some very worthy causes.

Dobbies

You’ll receive a warm welcome from the elves before you take part in the North Pole adventure. Children will get to experience snowy scenes, ice fish with the penguins, help the polar bears improve their ice hockey skills, shoot some snowball hoops and see where Santa’s reindeer live, all before getting the chance to meet Santa himself.

Visit Santa this Christmas at centre:mk and experience the brand-new tale of Peter Rabbit and Friends, in a heartwarming new festive adventure!

Families will enter Peter Rabbit’s cosy burrow, warmly welcomed by Mrs Rabbit who will tell the tale of Peter’s lost Christmas presents. The Children will use clues to help Mrs Rabbit search for the missing presents, before adventuring out into the snowy forest through Peter’s secret tunnel.
